Il concerto "Grandi maestri e giovani promesse" rappresenta uno dei momenti più attesti del Festival, che porta sul palcoscenico l'essenza più fondamentale di Ticino Musica: la condivisione dell'eccellenza in un dialogo tra generazioni.

Una serata che riunisce sullo stesso palcoscenico interpreti di fama internazionale e giovani musicisti selezionati tra i più promettenti del panorama formativo di Ticino Musica. Un dialogo tra sensibilità artistiche e visioni musicali, in cui l’arte dell’ascolto e della condivisione si traduce in una forma viva di interpretazione.

Il concerto, articolato in due parti, offre al pubblico un momento di rara intensità sonora, con pagine brillanti e raffinate che valorizzano sia l’ensemble di fiati sia l’intimità cameristica degli archi.

Andrea Oliva (flauto), Ivan Podyomov (oboe), Calogero Palermo (clarinetto), Gabor Meszaros (fagotto), David Johnson (corno), Ricardo Carvalhoso (tuba), Alessandro Moccia (violino), Danilo Rossi (viola) e Asier Polo (violoncello) guidano questo percorso musicale affiancati dai partecipanti alle masterclass di Ticino Musica.

Il programma si apre con la Suite in si bemolle maggiore op. 4 di Johann Strauss, una composizione giovanile sorprendente, che svela già l’inconfondibile freschezza del futuro re del valzer. Scritta per tredici strumenti a fiato, l’opera è un gioiello del repertorio ottocentesco per ensemble, tra lirismo elegante e brillantezza orchestrale.

Segue uno dei vertici assoluti della musica da camera romantica: il Quintetto op. 115 di Johannes Brahms, proposto nella rara e suggestiva versione con viola solista. Una pagina colma di introspezione, calore e struggente bellezza, in cui il timbro della viola si intreccia con gli archi in un tessuto sonoro denso e raffinato.

Cornice del concerto è l’Aula Magna del Conservatorio di Lugano, spazio raccolto e ideale per apprezzare ogni sfumatura del suono.

Große Meister und junge Talente

Das Konzert „Große Meister und junge Talente“ ist einer der wichtigsten Momente des Festivals und bringt das Wesentliche von Ticino Musica auf die Bühne: das Teilen von Exzellenz in einem Dialog zwischen den Generationen.

Ein Abend, der international renommierte Interpreten und junge Musiker, die zu den vielversprechendsten Nachwuchskünstlern von Ticino Musica gehören, auf der gleichen Bühne zusammenbringt. Ein Dialog zwischen künstlerischer Sensibilität und musikalischen Visionen, bei dem die Kunst des Zuhörens und des Teilens in eine lebendige Form der Interpretation umgesetzt wird.

Das Konzert, das in zwei Teile gegliedert ist, bietet dem Publikum einen Moment von seltener Klangintensität, mit hervorrangende und raffinierten Seiten, die sowohl das Bläserensemble als auch die kammermusikalische Intimität der Streicher hervorheben.

Andrea Oliva (Flöte), Ivan Podyomov (Oboe), Calogero Palermo (Klarinette), Gabor Meszaros (Fagott), David Johnson (Horn), Ricardo Carvalhoso (Tuba), Alessandro Moccia (Violine), Danilo Rossi (Viola) und Asier Polo (Violoncello) leiten diese musikalische Reise, flankiert von Teilnehmern der Meisterkurse von Ticino Musica.

Das Programm beginnt mit der Suite B-Dur op. 4 von Johann Strauss, einer überraschenden Frühkomposition, die bereits die unverwechselbare Frische des künftigen Walzerkönigs erkennen lässt. Das für dreizehn Blasinstrumente geschriebene Werk ist ein Juwel des Ensemble-Repertoires des 19. Jahrhunderts, das zwischen eleganter Lyrik und orchestraler Brillanz schwankt.

Es folgt einer der absoluten Höhepunkte der romantischen Kammermusik: das Quintett op. 115 von Johannes Brahms, aufgeführt in der seltenen und stimmungsvollen Fassung mit Solobratsche. Es ist eine Seite voller Introspektion, Wärme und ergreifender Schönheit, in der sich das Timbre der Bratsche mit den Streichern zu einem dichten und raffinierten Klanggewebe verwebt.

Great masters and young talents

The concert “Great masters and young talents" represents one of the most anticipated moments of the Festival, bringing to the stage the most fundamental essence of Ticino Musica: the sharing of excellence in a dialogue between generations.

An evening that brings together on the same stage internationally renowned performers and young musicians selected from among the most promising of Ticino Musica's educational landscape. A dialogue between artistic sensibilities and musical visions, in which the art of listening and sharing is translated into a living form of interpretation.

The two-part concert offers the audience a moment of rare acoustic intensity, with brilliant and refined pages that enhance both the wind ensemble and the chamber intimacy of the strings.

Andrea Oliva (flute), Ivan Podyomov (oboe), Calogero Palermo (clarinet), Gabor Meszaros (bassoon), David Johnson (horn), Ricardo Carvalhoso (tuba), Alessandro Moccia (violin), Danilo Rossi (viola) and Asier Polo (cello) lead this musical journey alongside participants of Ticino Musica masterclasses.

The program opens with Johann Strauss' Suite in B-flat Major Op. 4, a striking early composition that already reveals the unmistakable freshness of the future king of the waltz. Written for thirteen wind instruments, the work is a gem of the 19th-century ensemble repertoire, between elegant lyricism and orchestral brilliance.

This is followed by one of the absolute pinnacles of Romantic chamber music: the Quintet Op. 115 by Johannes Brahms, offered in the rare and evocative version with solo viola. It is a page filled with introspection, warmth and poignant beauty, in which the timbre of the viola intertwines with the strings in a dense and refined acoustic fabric.

The setting for the concert is the Aula Magna of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, an intimate space ideal for appreciating every nuance of sound.
